Liverpool's Star Issues Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has shared that the Egyptian forward said sorry to the group of players after the controversy from his recent interview.

The striker was dropped from a key Champions League match following voicing frustrations and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.
âMo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,â Jones told Sky Sports. âHis apology was clear and was like: âShould anyone feel slighted, I apologise.ââ
The head coach has chosen not to comment publicly on whether he got an explanation from the veteran striker.
Looking Ahead
The player stated that the squad's reaction stayed normal. âNothing about him changed, he was smiling and it was business as usual,â the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also noted that a teammate fighting for a place is preferable. âI get that there are specific approaches you can handle situations,â he said. âYet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think thatâs more of an issue.â
Positive Results
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the games following the situation. Jones believes the forward's comments were not designed to destabilise the squad.
âIf passion has boiled over, itâs always been from a place of caring,â the midfielder stated. âWeâre past that now and weâre uniting strongly, getting results and securing victories.â
