The Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form According to the Astrological Sign

The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm across the community. From the one-by-one unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the title's launch, to trainers developing firm opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

With many of the Super Forms showcasing unique appearances that highlight their traits, one idea came to mind: How can connect this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for Aries, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly furious, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, light-hearted, and spontaneous. That's why Aries far more akin to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of either and benefit from a powerful ally; if you cross them, be ready to get burned.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Much like a devoted Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, whether in its regular and Super Form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, each the creature and a Taurus are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will defend their position unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed passion for treats. Many previous Pokédex entries mention their craving for tasty tree sap and how it employs its horn to collect it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Look at this absolute royalty. It's impossible to tell me this creature is not the soul of every party, providing an constant stream of chatter to anyone who wants to listen. Much like an captivating, gregarious Twins, it's very simple to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

Cancer is widely regarded as the most emotional sign of the zodiac, a passionate symbol known for frequently becoming absorbed in their emotions. Per the official info, Mega Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “tremendous quantity of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer emotional outburst. It is also recognized for its ability to create a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is likely to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

Leo – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was going to pick Pyroar for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the fact that it would be far too obvious, Leo is clearly Super Starmie, the star whose legs just went viral for being too fabulous (or horrifying, based on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the identical energy a Leo offers to the scene. Starmie is also said to be transmitting signals from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be putting on a show, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly reflected across this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Virgo when you inform them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden sends to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a plan.

The Scales – Mega Audino

Look at this sweet, empathetic being, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how others are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and trying to keep the peace, there are numerous Libras who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just make them stress even more about others.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic backstory: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through pure resentment and swore retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a performance. As a Sagittarius personally, the amount of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its description even notes how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to foresee disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often consistently think they’re right. Interestingly, much like a prophetic Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very first Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame placement that is most like a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Spirit/Flame typing fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general intimidating aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
